Cork companies called on to show trustworthiness
March 24, 2011 - Cork Independent

Cork entrants are being sought for a new ‘Business to Business’ (B2B) awards scheme to recognise trust and credibility in industry today. ‘Ireland’s Most Trusted Vendor Awards 2011’ will assess business across seven categories in B2B industries.

The awards are the concept of Irish B2B online directory providers, Waybiz.com. The awards will provide an opportunity for businesses, small companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs to find the right vendors and partners. It will also enable businesses to promote their services and credibility through their existing customers without heavy spending on unfocused traditional marketing.

Waybiz.com is supporting SME’s in Ireland by building trust between new buyers & sellers in B2B industry. Waybiz.com uses business referrals, verified clients recommendations and transparent customer details to build confidence between new buyers and suppliers and give them real encouragement to do business together.

Entry is free for any Irish business in the selected seven B2B industries, however to be eligible the business must have at least three testimonials from its clients. The testimonials must include its full client name, position, company name, city, country, and industry. The winner will be announced in mid-May on the basis of the client’s recommendations, transparent customer details, clients diversity and votes based on their company profiles. The reasoning associated with this idea is based on the difficulties involved in finding trusted vendors.

Abhinav Chugh, CEO of Waybiz.com says: “Over 13,000 new businesses were formed last year showing the increasing need to find the right and trusted vendors that can help you either make money or decrease costs. The current economic climate only serves to worsen the problems attached to the function of remaining solid in the business world. Therefore, trust is the biggest fear and the most respected accolade for buyers and vendors respectively trading both in local & global markets.”

Each entry will earn a free verified testimonial Seal from Waybiz.com and a personal profile on their website to promote and generate sales for their business. Aside from earning the reputable title of Irelands most trusted vendor the winning companies will also be rewarded with premium profiles on Waybiz.com for two years, the top slot position for three months for their respective industry, free verification and verified testimonial seal for all their testimonials and many other awards from the sponsor companies (to be announced at a later date). Deadline for entries to be submitted is 8 May 2011 with the awards to take place shortly afterwards.
