Therefore when looking for a new production control system it was important that a system was chosen that will provide traceability and be flexible enough to enable changes to made to production routes and work in progress while maintaining configuration control. Paragon have been very impressed with MIEtrak from training, ease of use and controls that can be developed to suit your business needs. We introduced in Jan 09 and the system ran in conjunction with our old system until the end of March (which coincided with our end of year). The old system was turned off at the end of March and MIEtrak was fully functional. MIETrak is a dedicated tailor made sheet metal and engineering orientated MRP program. Most of the competition products are general MRP systems which don't lend themselves to the challenges of sheet metal work production and precision engineering. MIETrak is very competitively priced. It is easy to use and with comprehensive training given and a superb backup service, the new MIETrak system will grow with the company. MIETrak is a product that I would highly recommend.

There was and still are many software houses offering a variety of systems, but the difference we found with Metalsoft, was that they were dedicated to our industry. This shows through their approach to upgrades that are always usable and always productive. We consequently installed FabriWIN followed by FabriTRAK, totally supporting our Administration. In 1998 we took delivery of a FabriVISION scanner and this immediately slashed our CNC and laser down times to a fraction and endorsed to our customers our commitment to quality.Metalsoft have also been very supportive when we have introduced new CNC equipment, either writing or finding a format to link to Fabriwin. Knowing Metalsoft I am sure we will never need to look again to change our software.
