The Jameson DublinInternational Film Festival was delighted to work closely with Kate Bowe PR on the 2008 JDIFF festival. One of the main aims of this year's festival was to raise the profile of the festival and to rubber-stamp the festival as one of the highlights of the annual calendar. This we achieved with great success, and we received the most press coverage that the festival has had to date. We focused on red carpet events and guests who attended the festival, but we were also able to profile other elements of the festival with our coverage which was incredibly comprehensive and hit all right places. Working closely with Kate Bowe PR, we established a daily presence in the building up and during the festival in both press, and radio. I found the Kate Bowe PR team incredibly helpful and experienced, and played a vital role in our publicity coverage this year.
We worked with Kate Bowe PR an a daily basis in the 2 month run up to Ted Fest. Without their support we would have been unable to cope with the press. They threw themselves wholeheartedly into what is admittedly an unorthodox client scenario, often way beyond the expected enthusiasm. It was a great comfort to know that this important aspect of the festival was being handled by such professional, courteous and passionate people.
