Cormac O’Brien, Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
I found the lecturers & college staff extremely professional, approachable, and always willing to assist wherever possible. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending iBat as an institution in which to carry out further studies, the relaxed friendly atmosphere and small class sizes made it a welcome return to education for me
Frank Kiernan, Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
I found studying part-time at IBaT very flexible. There was always a good atmosphere about the place. I have brought my knowledge I gained from the Graduate Diploma in Management Studies into my work as a public servant. It has been very valuable to me in progressing my career.
Mofida Takioullah, Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
The teaching method was very interactive. I discovered different cultures in my class from as far away as China, Nigeria and India. There was a good mix of cultures and nationalities. The course broadened my knowledge and understanding of HRM and different management perspectives. As part of corporate policy we could use our own experience when developing the project. The lecturers took a keen interest in our personal development.
Grainne Ginty, IBAT - Diploma in Project Management
I recently completed the IBAT Diploma in Project Management, I found the course content was excellent and could really relate to it in my current work environment. Olivia the lecturer was always open to questions and provided excellent guidance with our projects. I also found that the staff in IBAT were always friendly and willing to help with any queries I had, I would have no hesitation in recommending IBAT in the future.
I studied the Diploma in Supervisory Management from September 2008 until May 2009. John Murtagh was an excellent lecturer, I found him to be really concise in his delivery of each class and extremely encouraging and helpful with regard to assignments and any questions I may have had. The college itself I found very helpful, in particular the website and student area which I used for help and assistance when completing my assignments. I enjoyed my time with the college and plan to return in the next 24 months to complete another course.

IBAT College has so much to offer its students. I always found that the lecturers were well prepared and made classes very interesting, not only by referring to notes and books but real life examples in the world of business. The class sizes are comfortable and not overcrowded like some colleges and universities. The staff at IBAT College are very friendly and approachable.
Marianna Iftodi, HETAC L7 - Bachelor of Business Year 3
IBAT College is a friendly and modern campus with really helpful and supportive staff. Unlike the large universities, classes are small and allow for lots of interaction between students and lecturers. I have made lots of great friends here and find it a great environment for learning.

Philip Brant, Diploma in Web Programming (PHP / MySQL)
If you’re serious about becoming a programmer, I’d definitely recommend a course like this. You may not be a programming expert at the end of it, it will however give you a solid foundation from which to build on. It will guide you in the right direction, set you on your way.
I am currently studying for a Diploma in Desktop Publishing at IBAT College and finding the course very rewarding and enjoyable. My tutor makes learning easy and fun with interesting exercises to do both in class and at home. The staff are friendly and there are some great facilities available to students.
I was looking for a course which would complement my DTP skills and allow me to adopt these skils for use on the Web. This course gave me that missing piece of knowledge, now all our companies printed material exists dymamically and cheaply on our website. This course is a must if you wish to save money on your printing costs.
An excellent course. The lectures and exercises were very hands-on and showed how they could be applied to real-world projects, I really learned a lot through the various assignments. My instructor Cara provided excellent and detailed feedback, with accompanying examples. She quickly answered any questions. Great course.
Thomas King, Online Marketing, Sales and Digital Strategy
The best thing that you’ll get from this course is a competitive advantage. Of course you only touch on things like Fireworks, DreamWeaver and HTML, and various other useful things, but you can build on those skills and use them to your advantage. I bet you’ll meet plenty of employers who have no idea what search engine optimisation is or how to effectly use Google AdWords and have not even considered the potential of social websites to their business. Because you do, you’re going to stand out and they’re going to want you for these skills. What you learn from this course will continue to help you throughout your career.
Diana Covasa, ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence
The Lecturers in IBAT always provide an easy going educational atmosphere during the classes and provide you with every oppertunity to ask questions. Tony Murray in particular is very happy to address any problems you may have.
The one thing that really impressed me after becoming a student is the excellent communication you get from the College. No information was too irrelevant or small. I was kept informed of everything affecting me as a student at all times. The School was always reaching out to Students via the College website as well as by e-mail and by text and telephone. On the personal touch, the Staff were very helpful whether on telephone or being there persoally. They went the extra-mile and this really impressed me. The Lecturers I had were very friendly and never minded clarifying points when I was lost on issues and the website also afforded me opportunities to catch up even on missed lectures.
The lectures were very good and had an excellent approach to the course subjects. We had access to plenty of notes and things were simplified as much as possible. The ACCA course gives me a qualification that can be brought anywhere and will widen my career oppertunities. It has helped me in my current position and studying for an accountancy qualification has made me more valuable to my own company.
The staff at IBAT college are friendly and very helpful, Isolde Hampson is our lecturer and she is the best, she knows all there is to know about ATI and brings it across in her notes and lectures in class.

Our student mentor system sets us apart from other institutions and ensures a student-centred learning experience. The student mentor system means you’ll have the opportunity to: ask questions, explore and truly understand what you’ve set out to learn.
It is IBaT policy to nominate a student mentor across all full-time programmes at the beginning of each academic year. The student mentor is a visible and active link between IBaT and the student body. Our programmes are designed to prepare individuals for employment and/or further education. The broad range of business and technology subjects available provides comprehensive exposure to the core areas of business and management. Learning is an experience that occurs both individually and between you and your fellow participants. It is themeans by which you take in the theories, models, cases and other information that you are confronted with, how you synthesise them internally and finally, how you apply them in your daily work life as well as in your personal life.
At IBaT the focus of our teaching method is on creating learning together with our participants and staff. This is achieved through dialogue based and interactive lectures and discussions. We believe that competencies are not developed through one-way communication, but rather through a discussion of theories and the participants’ experiences.
